Nintendo has introduced its new game console named Switch. The device connects the console and the handheld and is intended to play on TV as well as on the road.

The Switch consists of several components: the console for connecting to the TV, a removable tablet for playing on the go, and two control controllers called Joy Controller. They can be attached to the mobile tablet as well as to other devices.

Details on the hardware inside the individual console parts have so far barely. As a processor, according to the chip maker Nvidia the in-house Tegra processor with integrated graphics chip is used.

According to Nintendo, the console combines the mobility of a tablet with the performance of a TV console. An indication that mobile computing is available at full capacity when players remove the tablet from the docking station.

The HD screen should also be bright enough for outdoor games. According to Nintendo, several switch consoles can be connected locally for multiplayer rounds.

With the Joy Controllers, Nintendo is breaking new ground. The gray control units can be connected both to the console screen and to a holder called Joy-Con.

User amuses the similarity to a dog

When connected, they can be operated with both hands, but in a product video scenes are also shown, in which several players use individual controller parts. The connection to the console is obviously wireless.

The new Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are already announced for the sale of the console in March 2017. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained the switch, among other things, to work on a version of "Let's Dance 2017" for the console. Numerous other studios are already developing games for the console, according to Nintendo.
